Thomas a. Lappin

Thomas A. Lappin was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997. The grandson of Mexican immigrants, Thomas felt a special affinity for those who come to the United States in search of a better life. He has used his legal education, expertise and 25 years of experience helping those that want to make the United Staes their home. 

Thomas A. Lappin has successfully represented thousands of immigrants before the U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Thomas has published decisions in the Ninth Circuit as well as the BIA.

In addition to practicing Immigration law, Thomas has represented hundreds of individuals in the California Criminal courts, including criminal defense and post-conviction relief.

US Visa Journey provides experienced representation to U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents who want to immigrate their relatives to the United States from abroad.

Our main focus is fiance(e) visas and consular processing for married couples but we pride ourselves on helping those with difficult cases, including those with prior deportation orders and criminal records.
